![]() This is an electrical service panel in a house in Moore Oklahoma. As you can see, the ground wires (copper wires) is set under the same screw as the neutral return (white wire). Normally neutral return wires (white wires) are not allowed to be put under the same screw with any other wires. Ground wires (copper wires) can have a single or double wires under one screw. In a service panel, neutral return wires (white wires) and ground wires (copper wire) on the same buss bar are considered sloppy electrical work but not against code. In a sub panel, neutral return wires (white wires) and ground wires (copper wires) are not allowed to be on the same buss bar at all. |
